I am Victoria Fitz-Gerald, owner of Bella Toscana Holidays. I am the architect that designs and executes unforgettable journeys in Toscana. For 22 years I have been the creator of unique and memorable boutique holidays in Tuscany. For so many reasons Tuscany is the most desired region to explore in Italy.
August 22, 1996 was the first day that my feet touched the ancient Etruscan soil of central Italy. All 5 of my senses where ignited. The fragrance of fresh lavender waltzing the hillsides. The sound of laughter coming from local cafes and admirers exchanging “mi amore”.
There was the taste of freshly pressed olive oil, the warmth of being greeted with a kiss on both cheeks and the sensation of stroking a warm piece of ancient marble. Then there was the feeling I had the first time I saw Michelangelo’s David, The Birth of Venus by Sandro Botticelli and the stunning Duomo in the center of Florence. Breathtaking, intoxicating and soulful.
It was the following summer, in 1997, that I founded Bella Toscana Holidays. In the past 22 years I have not only met some of the most wonderful and intriguing travelers, but I have been able to introduce to them the unique beauty of Toscana.
I know that my purpose in life is to share this beloved land with seekers like myself that have a passion for art, beauty and rich culture.
